A morning, afternoon and evening sunset with SpaceX Starbase Starship on November 17th 2023
The morning started out with the stacking again of S25 on top of B9 after the grid fin acuator was replaced at around 8:45 AM.
The afternoon was spent with SpaceX escourts as media set up remote camers in two location. One location is directly next to the launch pad and is in the danger zone from liftoff damage. The other new spot is 1.5 miles away from the launch pad across from the SpaceX diner for its employess and is out of any danger from liftoff damage.
The evening was spent photographing a beautiful sunset with the Polaris Jared Isaacman jet trio completing a flyby around the launch pad. Jared Isaacman was the comander of Inspiration 4 (the first all private astronaut team for St. Jude Hospital funding) and will be the first commander of a crewed Starship when it becomes certified for human flight.
Tomorrow morning November 18th at 7:00 AM to 7:20 AM CST will be the next launch attempt for SpaceX Starship Test Flight #2
