On Time Liftoff By SpaceX At 4:08 PM EST Of SES Satellites 03b mPower 5 & 6 Their 84th Launch In 2023!
On a very cloudy and breezy Northerly 15 to 20 mph wind SpaceX launched their customers satellites 03b mPower 5 & 6 into orbit lifting 3,400 KG payload into orbit from SLC-40 Cape Canaveral Florida. First stage booster B-1076 made it's ninth flight to space and landed on ASOG drone ship down range east of the Bahamas.
This marks the 84th launch by SpaceX from their East & West Coast launch pads, the 282nd total corporate launch, 244th total landings and 216th re-flight of a Falcon 9 first stage booster. It also is the 171st consecutive landing a company record and the 154th launch from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral.
The newly installed crew access arm and service tower is looking great at SLC-40 as you can see in some of the liftoff photos from todays launch.
Congratulations to the SpaceX SES Sld45 teams on this successful mission to date.
