Another SpaceX Elon Musk milestone with their first 18th flight first stage Falcon 9 booster carrying Starlink 6-26 internet satellites to space and landing back on their drone ship ASOG in the Atlantic Ocean at 8:37 PM November 3rd 2023.
The 45th Space Wing had predicted 80% Go For Launch weather but it was even better than that at liftoff. The clouds cleared about an hour before launch on a crystal clear spacecoast evening over launch complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Florida.
SpaceX is pushing the flight certification on their reflown Falcon 9 rockets in a hopes of reaching 20 flights in routine fashion. Tonight was the 60th launch from Kennedy Space Center / Cape Canaveral in 2023.
The booster landing tonight marks the 241st booster landing with 213 reflown rockets and the 278th total launch for SpoaceX,
