SpaceX had to move the T-0 for liftoff four different times with scattered showers and fast moving clouds coming off the Atlantic Ocean in the early morning hours 1:36 AM Thursday October 5th 2023. The successful launch of Starlink 6-21 makes the 70th Falcon 9 mission in 2023 and the 71st launch for SpaceX counting the Starship super heavy test flight in April from Boca Chica Texas. B-1076-8 made its eight flight to space and safely landed back on drone ship JRTI down range in the Atlantic near the Bahamas after helping to deliver twentytwo Starlink satellites into orbit.
The weather was only 50% Go For Launch and intermittent showers was a concern during the entire launch window.
