A Record Breaking Night On Late Tuesday Occured During The SpaceX Starlink 6-17 Mission!

The SpaceX team keeps adding to their and the world record book by launching and landing a first stage Falcon 9 booster B-1058 for the seventeenth time again pushing Elon Musk's goal of re-userability further ahead.

This booster completed a turn around of 65.96 days from its last mission and flight. Liftoff occured from SLC-40 at 11:38 PM on Tuesday Night September 19th 2023.

The mission was a complete success however the middle layer thick clouds that rolled in over the launch pad before liftoff and the photograghers miss alignment of the streak shot attempt was less than perfect on the night. Even with the mishap it was a beautiful and inspiring night to continue to improcve and keep trying new techniques.

Stats on this launch: 265 Total Launches SpaceX

227 Total Landings

199 Total Reflight

63rd Reflight of a Booster in 2023

153rd Consecutive Landing (New Record)

67th Launch for SpaceX in 2023

144th SpaceX Launch from SLC-40

Congratulations to the entire hard working SpaceX team on this accomplishment!
