Veteran NASA astronauts Barry "Butch" Wilmore is the commander and Suni Williams is the pilot. Both astronauts are Navy test pilots and both have flown in space twice before this mission. Their Boeing crew capsule is Calypso which has only spent 49 hours in space back on December 20th 2019 for two days before software program issues forced an abort docking at the ISS and a return to Earth.
Launch attempt will occur at 10:34 PM EDT Monday May 6th 2024 from Slick 41 launch pad Cape Canaveral Florida.
