With clear skies and breezy winds SpaceX launched exactly at 3:11 PM Tuesday February 20th 2024 from SLC-40 the MERAH PUTIH 2 Indonesia telecommunication satellite into orbit. First stage booster B-1067 flew for the seventeenth time and safely landed on JRTI drone ship down range for SpaceX 275th booster landing!

The name MERAH PUTIH stands for the red & white colors of the Indonesia flag and it is their 2nd satellite in orbit. The satellite was built by Thales Alenia Spacebus 4000B2 platform and weighs 4 metric tons at liftoff with fuel. This satellite is expected to have a 15 year life span in space.

Today marks the 16th SpaceX launch in 2024 and now makes for the 311 total corporate launches, 275 total booster landings and 246 reflown boosters per SpaceX.com/launches
